As the concessionaire, Croisières Baie de Gaspé is the only company authorized to operate whale-watching excursions in Forillon National Park. Uniquely—almost exclusively—Forillon lets you enjoy real closeness with whales without the crowds of many other boats.

Expert team

Every morning, a staff member from Croisières Baie de Gaspé spots whales from the shore using binoculars. This scouting often makes all the difference, as it gives us a good idea of how whales are distributed in the Forillon area.

Among all excursion companies in Quebec, we’re the closest to the areas frequented by these great marine mammals. In general, we don’t have to travel long distances to find whales. Grande-Grave Wharf

Our cruises depart from Grande-Grave (2448 A Bd de Grande-Grève, G4X 6L7), about 7 km from the entrance to Forillon’s South Sector. If you’re coming from Gaspé, follow Route 132 West to the village of Cap-aux-Os, where you’ll find access to the park’s South Sector at the end of the village.

Hyman Store

If you’re coming from Cap-des-Rosiers (North Sector), take Route 132 East toward Cap-aux-Os and turn left toward the South Sector at the entrance to the village. Then continue to the Grande-Grave area, and when you see the Hyman Store (the period general store), turn right toward the wharf, where you’ll see our ticket office.

Our departure point for the Cap Aventure vessel is at the Gaspé Marina (10 Rue de la Marina, G4X 3B1), right downtown. Easily accessible via Route 132, the marina is just minutes from downtown shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Whether you’re coming from Percé or Forillon National Park, follow Route 132 to downtown Gaspé and head to the marina. Signs will guide you directly to the departure wharf.
