Frequently asked questions
Find answers to common questions about our cruises.
Our cruises run rain or shine! However, in bad weather, the captains review the forecast before each departure. In the event of strong winds or fog, the captain will decide whether or not to cancel the cruise.
Our cruise schedules vary by season. To see exact times, check our schedule table on the website. We offer several departures per day to suit everyone.
Since whales are marine mammals, they must come up to the surface to breathe, on average every 8 minutes, 24 hours a day. However, when sea conditions are good (little or no wind), it’s easier to spot whales and head out to them. In general (but not always), morning departures have less wind and the best conditions.
We recommend bringing warm clothing (long pants, closed-toe shoes, two warm layers and a waterproof layer on top), even if the weather is nice! Remember sunscreen and a bottle of water. Don’t forget your camera to capture these moments.

The Narval III is the ideal type of boat for whale watching. It’s fast, safe, and comfortable. The speed of the Narval III allows for a better approach and a longer whale-watching time before it dives back down.

Customer reviews
A dream excursion to the ends of the earth to watch whales—well worth the trip, because the boats are smaller than elsewhere and there’s no marine traffic around. Forillon Park is magnificent.
We loved our whale-watching cruise! The captain was passionate and very informative—she taught us so much about whales, seals, and the marine environment. We were lucky enough to see whales several times, and even some curious seals that surprised us near the boat. The atmosphere was calm, respectful of nature, and truly enriching. A wonderful moment we won’t forget! Thank you.
Great place! The owner is so kind! Such a warm welcome.
And what can we say about our guide, Pascale—so kind, gentle, passionate, and motivated!
I recommend everyone go on a cruise with them.
